Allsorts ~ Bring out the Bling

Afternoon, been really busy today creating. Samples for new releases coming soon from Cuddly Buddly . I had time to squeeze in this little cutie too for this weeks challenge over on Allsorts which is "Bling" My bling is the scrummy cherries on the cakes. Still using things from my Forever Friends TSV kit it has an ever ending supply of stash it's fab. The background is my Happy Birthday cuttlebug embossing folder for those who know me well, know how much I love my bug :D The sentiment says Birthday Treat sorry it's not clear it's the angle the camera was at. I'm off to make my PB card for this week and a few more samples for Kim. Enjoy the rest of the day.

It's A Crafter's Companion DT Card

A very good morning to one and all. This morning is my first DT card for you for the It's A Crafter's Companion Challenge blog. Thank you again girls for asking me to join the team.

This fortnights challenge is a sketch for you to follow and we would like you to include Red, Gold, White, Ribbon, Gems and embossing (of any kind) on your creation.

Here is what I have come up with.

For my card I have used Cute companions Christmas Magic set which is fabulous as you can either use the snowglabe option or the bauble option like I have for my card. I have coloured my cutie with Copics which are now available at

Crafter's Companion to purchase and I have paper pieced her dress.

Distressed Edwin

A very good morning, bit of a rush this morning been phoned at the last minute to step into a place at the bowling so trying to do a million things at once. Lol I'm drying my hair ans trying to type at the same time doh.

Today's card is for this weeks challenge on Just Magnolia which is Distressing. A fabulous tutorial by Chris. Poor Edwin is distressed as he has fallen and hurt himself and needs big hugs. Was raiding the stash again and found old stash so using it up. DCWV papers and my goodness mulberry papers lol goodness knows when I bought them. Anyway well worth a visit to see the stunning examples from the JM DT this week.

Forever Friends meet Papertake Weekly

A very good morning. Today is my Daughter's 22 Birthday. She gave up being a Toni & Guy hairdresser to become an Electrian. She is currently in her second year of her apprenticeship and has straight "As" so far. She is at college today so we are taking her out for a meal when she gets back.

The second card today is for the challenge over on Forever Friends which is another fabulous sketch. I have used a Forever Friends decoupage from my QVC kit. This card is for Jack to give to his mum later. We got him to hold a pencil yesterday and he scribbled on the insert, signing his first card at 7 months lol. It's fab and I know my daughter will love it.

Colour Create #30 ~ All White

Evening all, late posting today I watch Jack on a Tuesday and then my daughter comes for tea. I've just got tidied up phew! Today's card is another crimbo card I'm afraid. All White is the challenge over on Colour Create this week, some smashing examples from the girls. I've used my Inkadinkadoo snowman stamp love this little fellow and stamped him using bashful blue from Stampin Up. The snowflakes either side are a Papermania stamp again stamped in bashful blue. I used a Sakura glitter pen for some added sparkle.

Well I've got a date with an ironing board now and Edward *sigh* yip best way to do the ironing is to watch Twilight *big grin*

Magnolia Meets Mojo Monday

Afternoon, been a busy day today for me. I just managed to get this card photographed before we loose the light, keep forgetting how early it gets dark now. I'm still sulking about X-Factor it's become a joke in my opinion.....anyway enough about that.

Today's card is for this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge which is Monochromatic. Sensational examples from the talented team every one a delight to drool over. I have used today's sketch from Mojo Monday for my card which I have flipped. Fabulous sketch Julee, thank you.

I was trying a wee experiment with this card to see if I could mix Cute with Stampin Up and yeah it worked. Tilda has been plodding through the snow with her boots on. I think you will agree that this has worked well and could be used with any cute stamp if the proportion is right. It's maybe not to everyone's taste but I love it. It would be a boring old world if we were are the same lol. I'm going to try one with a Gorguss Girl next, will post it when I've had a play.

*Edited to say ~ I think it needs a few snowflakes...what do you think?*
